Breaking the Silence



Youtube has alot of whacko D videos, but there are some pretty interesting/informative ones on there.

THAT was a good You Tube! I am getting a bit bummed out by all the bad stuff..... I almost just skipped looking. THANK YOU for bringing it to our attention. I like the way it shows people all over the world. I like the way it shows us how lucky some of us are to have readily available insulin.

OK, this is a great video. But I think my favorite part is where they show the bloodsugar testing happening and they include the lick of the finger as if it's a clinical step. That's awesome. Because we all know it is!

Yeah Nicole I lick my finger too, but I have now found that this makes it bleed even more - on everything. I have begun to put a square of toilet paper with my meter. I am so sick of blood everywhere.....

I quite like that video.

I was touched by the guy who said he sometimes feels like a problem because his family cannot afford to buy his insulin. That's shyte right there. Such a shame to know there are so many people who can't get what they need to stay alive. No one should have to feel like their simple existence is a burden.
